Jaune Pearls debuts The Pearl Society Dinner, an evening dedicated to celebrating craftsmanship, family, and community
On June 18, Jaune Pearls celebrated Pearl Month with the inaugural Pearl Society Dinner at the historic Elizabeth Bay House in Sydney.
It was an intimate gathering that introduced the brand's first artistic collaboration with French artist-jeweller Marion Fillancq for The Sculptures collection, while unveiling The Pearl Society, a community founded on a shared appreciation for craftsmanship, creativity, family, and meaningful connection.
"Bringing the first Pearl Society Dinner to life was incredibly emotional," shares Creative Director and Founder Melizza Tanpoco. "It represented so much more than organising our first event. It was an opportunity to share the heart of Jaune Pearls with the people who have supported us throughout our journey."
Attendees across fashion, media, business, philanthropy, and the arts came together to experience a thoughtfully curated jewellery exhibition, trying on the pieces and connecting with one another throughout the evening. Guests included Ronaldo Jaya Kusuma, Rosana Jaya Kusuma, Patricia Gigliotti, Masha Heurich, Yan Zhou, Samantha Corry, Kathleen Paton, Janitha Perera, Victor Audibert, Declan Castle, Abigail Lengui, Halla Madol, Tom Dickinson, Icy Ling, Fiona Xue, Clark Kent Koga, Paulina Ortega, Georgie Rafferty, Daniel Tsintsiper, Joe Farage, Michelle Chin, and Jan Marie Jacobson.
Taking centre stage of the exhibition was the newly launched collection, The Sculptures, consisting of nine one-of-a-kind sculptural works handcrafted in solid silver and paired with exceptional Tahitian pearls, each created using the ancient lost-wax casting technique, making every piece entirely unique.
Inspired by the movement of the ocean and the timeless language of sculpture, each pearl became an integral element of every creation, reimagining fine jewellery as contemporary art while honouring the natural beauty and elegance that define the brand.
Presented alongside were The Nobles, The Wearable Works of Art, The Honeybee, and The Forge, each reflecting Jaune Pearls' philosophy of celebrating craftsmanship and the timeless beauty of Tahitian pearls.
Guests also shared heartfelt reflections through The Pearl Confessionals before gathering for a candlelit dinner, accompanied by the melodies of live harp music to set the tone.
The evening marked a special milestone as the Founder announced Jaune Pearls' upcoming presentation at Paris Fashion Week later this year. For Melizza, being able to share the news first with The Pearl Society made the moment truly meaningful, celebrating this new chapter with the community who has been part of her family's journey from the beginning.
The evening concluded with The Hidden Pearl, a pearl hunt that led to a special prize reveal and a joyful finale before guests departed.
The first Pearl Society Dinner became a celebration of stories, connection, and appreciation for the enduring beauty of pearls.
One guest later reflected that the evening reminded her "that sometimes the most meaningful luxury is simply feeling cared for," recalling how "candlelight danced across the dinner table, laughter filled the room, stories were shared," and thanking Jaune Pearls for "the beautiful community she's building around pearls." That sentiment reflected the true purpose of the night: to be a catalyst for genuine human connection, where every guest felt welcomed, valued, and part of something meaningful.
