Jaunepearls.com.au is run by Jaune Pearls (hereinafter “we”, “us” or “our”) a member of the company, Jaune House PTY LTD. Indicated below are the general terms and conditions of purchase and sale (“terms and conditions”) that will be applicable to buys of our pearl jewellery and other products (“product” or “products”) on jaunepearls.com or on face-to-face consultations with our certified pearl experts.
From time to time there will be updates said terms and conditions, if modified, you will be notified via our newsletter or an announcement on our website. You will have to accept these terms and conditions to confirm your order from us. Please know you have to be over the age of 18 to purchase goods from the website, or under parental guidance. A representative of Jaune Pearls will be able assist you from 9:30am to 5:00pm AEST Monday to Friday.
Purchasing Products
In order to be able to buy and acquire Jaune Pearls products on our website or our face-to-face consultations with our certified pearl experts, you are required to make an order and payment in agreement with our respective terms and conditions
Order Confirmation
You, the client, are required to press and select the ‘Submit Order’ button in order to confirm your purchase with Jaune Pearls. When the confirmation is declared, the purchase will be submitted for our company to be processed and may not be changed or cancelled unless as specifically indicated in our respective terms and conditions or as stated by appropriate law.
Please note:
Here at Jaune Pearls, we utilise world-class and industry accepted pearl grading criteria to classify our pearls and to deliver precise product portrayals in the descriptions. We have certified pearl experts who assist us to describe an accurate description of our jewellery. At Jaune Pearls we value and ensure that each product media asset on jaunepearls.com.au represents correctly the pearls on our website using the five categories to grade pearls.
However, considering the nature of pearls, organic and unique, it may occur that products ordered by you and delivered to you may vary from the applicable product description and/or representation provided on jaunepearls.com.au. In case of any specific inquires in this subject are, please contact us before confirming your order. We offer a guideline for necklace, ring, and wrist sizing based on our measurement system; however, we cannot take responsibility for discrepancies between different sizing methods and standards.
Jaune pearls offer products that are in stock, available, and ready for delivery for sale. In the case of our inventory list be out of date, we will communicate with you via email to choose whether you will wait for the product to be in stock again, change or cancel your order.

We document all transactions between our clients and ourselves. In case of a dispute relating to a transaction conducted on jaunepearls.com.au, the facts recorded by us will constitute evidence of the transaction.
Payment
All prices displayed on jaunepearls.com.au are in Australian Dollars (AU$) by default, or in your local currency if selected on the website.We accept payments through all major credit and debit cards. We also accept Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. If you wish to pay via cash or bank transfer, please schedule an appointment with a Jaune Pearls Certified Pearl Expert by emailing us at info@jaunepearls.com.au.
Please note that all products remain the property of Jaune Pearls until we receive full payment for your order. Once we receive full payment, the ownership of the product will be transferred to you.
Any risk associated with the products will pass on to you upon delivery. According to these terms and conditions, delivery is deemed to have taken place once the products are accepted at the specified delivery address, as evidenced by your signature or the signature of another adult signing for the products.
We reserve the right to delay and/or cancel any order suspected of fraudulent activity.
Delivery
We take great care in ensuring that your purchases are delivered to your door promptly and efficiently. Our Australia-wide delivery service ensures that purchases made through Jaunepearls.com.au are delivered within 5 business days, subject to any other terms and conditions to the contrary, such as for special orders.
Please note that an adult's signature is required upon delivery, and the shipping agent may request personal delivery or accept another adult's signature for delivery. If no one is available, the courier may leave a delivery card or hold the package at the nearest post office for your convenience.
International customers can also take advantage of our shipping via Australia Post International Services, with delivery times typically taking between 1-2 weeks to the USA or UK, and potentially longer for other countries.
Please note we are not responsible for any packages that are held for customs inspections or for any delays that occur as a result of such inspections.
For special orders that require adjustments, such as ring sizes, please note that the standard delivery time may not apply. In this case, we will provide you with an estimated delivery timeline when you confirm your order, and you will be asked to accept before proceeding with your purchase.
We understand the importance of protecting your purchase during transport. All packages we send are insured until delivered. If you identify any damage to the package upon delivery, please report it to the courier immediately.
At Jaune Pearls, we strive to ensure a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience, including the delivery of your purchases. However, when it comes to international shipping, customs and import regulations can be complex and vary from country to country.
Please be aware that, whilst we do our utmost to facilitate a seamless delivery, Jaune Pearls cannot take responsibility for items that are delayed, detained, or confiscated by customs authorities. We advise you to reach out to your local customs office for specific details about your shipment.
We encourage our valued customers to familiarise themselves with their local customs policies and regulations. This understanding helps in anticipating any potential delays or additional fees that might be incurred. Unfortunately, if items are detained permanently, we are unable to offer a refund.

Our business hours are Monday to Friday, 9.30 am - 5.00 pm AEST, and orders cannot be processed or delivered on weekends or public holidays. Our knowledgeable customer service team is available to assist you with any queries you may have
Repairs
You can return products purchased from jaunepearls.com.au to our Customer Service team (contact info@jaunepearls.com.au) for repair or servicing. You can also book an appointment with a Certified Pearl Expert in Sydney to return your purchases.
Repairs for non-defective products may incur a fee.
We assure the authenticity of all pearls purchased through jaunepearls.com.au. A certificate of authenticity will be provided with Tahitian Pearls purchases upon delivery.
We take the security of our customers' personal information seriously. All web pages where you provide personal information during a transaction are secure and use encrypted data transfer.
You cannot assign or transfer your rights or benefits under these terms and conditions without our express prior written consent, subject to applicable law.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia and the Northern Territory of Australia and shall be construed in accordance with them.
