A Letter From the Founder & Creative Director
I’ve always loved how Christmas asks us to slow down. To choose more thoughtfully. To gift with feeling, not rush. For me, pearls have always symbolised that kind of care formed slowly, worn close, meant to stay with you long after the season ends. They remind me that the most meaningful things are never hurried.
Thank you for sharing this year with us. For supporting our work, our values, and the way we choose to create. As the year comes to a close, I hope your Christmas feels warm and intimate, filled with quiet joy, gentle moments, and gifts chosen from the heart.
All the love,
Melizza Jaune
Founder & Creative Director

Holidays Rituals
What are your Christmas rituals?
Christmas, for me, is deeply rooted in intentional gifting. My family prides ourselves with taking the time to thoughtfully curate gifts for the people who have shaped our year, family, loved ones, and those who have supported us in our journey, as an expression of gratitude. This ritual reflects the heart of Jaune Pearls. Love and compassion sit at the core of everything we create, and our ambition has always been to offer pieces that feel meaningful to give, not just beautiful to receive.
Our creations are born from a place of care: for people and for the planet. From our untreated, naturally luminous Tahitian pearls to our commitment to ethical sourcing and social responsibility, every detail reflects authenticity and respect for nature’s craft. Christmas is also a time I return home to celebrate Filipino culture, where the holidays revolve around family, shared meals, generosity, and love. That sense of togetherness continues to inspire how I approach both life and business.
Which gifting traditions feel most meaningful to you and how is it being celebrated?
Gift-giving with my family and the people I love feels most meaningful to me. It allows me to express appreciation while creating moments of connection, sitting together, sharing stories, and being fully present. We’re not rushing, not distracted, just together.
This year, I want to give in a way that feels slower and more personal. The kind of gift that carries meaning, not noise. A pearl can do that: timeless, considered, quietly special. And sometimes it’s the also the smallest details around it (the mood, the scent, the warmth of the room) that make the memory stay.
Together, incense and pearls feel complementary: one shaping the mood, the other carrying the memory. A quiet reminder that the best gifts come from presence, care, and time.
How do these rituals influence your mindset or creative process?
At Jaune Pearls, everything we do is intentional. Traditions ground me. They remind me that beauty isn’t rushed, and that meaning is built through care, patience, and thoughtfulness, the same principles that guide our creative and design process.
Year-End Reflection
How would you describe this year in one word? Why?
Beautiful. This year was a celebration of growth for Jaune Pearls, from collaborating with international and iconic tastemakers and key opinion leaders, to launching wearable works of art, being featured in global press, appearing at New York Fashion Week and Australian Fashion Week, and bringing our Paris and Forge campaigns to life. Each milestone felt aligned and purposeful. All thanks to the hard work of my parents, sister, and entire team.
What are the highlights you’re most proud of and grateful for?
I’m most proud of how Jaune Pearls has evolved while staying true to its essence. Seeing our family’s designs recognised internationally, forming meaningful creative collaborations, and watching the brand resonate across cultures has been incredibly rewarding, especially reimagining the way pearls are perceived.
What challenges shaped you this year?
Growth always comes with its challenges: balancing scale with craftsmanship, protecting creative integrity, and learning when to say no. These moments pushed me to refine our processes, trust my intuition, and lead with greater clarity.
How do these milestones shape your vision moving forward?
They’ve reaffirmed my belief that Jaune Pearls should grow thoughtfully. The future isn’t about moving faster, but about building deeper stronger relationships, richer storytelling, and creations that endure.

Embracing the Beauty of Craftsmanship
As Founder and Creative Director, how do traditions and reflection influence your approach to craft and business?
Traditions and reflection allow me to design with intention rather than urgency. They remind me that craftsmanship is a dialogue between time, emotion, and material. This philosophy extends beyond our pieces, shaping how we collaborate, communicate, and build our brand.
What values or intentions will you carry into the coming year?
I’m carrying forward intentionality, integrity, and care: for our artisans, our community, and our environment. I want every decision to feel considered and true.
What’s next for Jaune Pearls in 2026?
2026 is about depth. Strategic alliances, community building, and immersive experiences that allow people to truly connect with the Jaune Pearls world, not just through products, but through shared moments, stories, and values. There is so much more to come — intentionally, slowly, and ever evolving.
