- Composed of calcium carbonate, they are sensitive to acids, perfumes, and other corrosive substances.

Care Techniques
- Tahitian pearls love to be worn as skin contact helps maintain their natural hydration and lustre.
- Wipe them gently with a soft cloth after use, and consider an occasional rinse in clean seawater to restore their glow.
- To maintain durability, strands should be restrung yearly. We offer complimentary restringing once a year.
